Quick update: we just integrated Z-Image for avatar generation in the final step of character creation.
What Changed
When you finish creating your AI girlfriend character, the avatar now generates automatically using Z-Image.
The flow:
- Design your character (appearance, personality, traits)
- Hit "Create Character"
- Z-Image automatically generates a high-quality avatar in 2-3 seconds
- Don't like it? Regenerate up to 4 times to get the perfect look
Before this, avatars were hit-or-miss. Now they're consistently high-quality and match your character description better.
Why Z-Image
Z-Image is the fastest high-quality image model available right now. It's also less filtered than other models, which means your character designs don't get blocked or sanitized.
What makes it better:
- Generates in 2-3 seconds (faster than our previous system)
- Better facial details and consistency
- Works well for both photorealistic and anime styles
- Less restrictive content filters
- Higher quality results by default
How It Works
When you create a character:
- Fill out character details (name, appearance, personality)
- Hit "Create Character"
- Z-Image generates the avatar automatically
- If you don't like the result, hit regenerate (you get 4 total attempts)
- Pick the one you like best
If you already have characters created, you can regenerate their avatars by editing the character. You'll get 4 regeneration attempts per edit.
Does This Replace Other Image Generation?
No.
You can still use our regular image generation tools for creating full scenes, NSFW content, custom poses, and everything else.
Z-Image is specifically for character profile avatars — clean, centered portraits that represent your character in the UI.
Think of it like this:
- Z-Image avatars: Quick, clean profile pictures for your characters
- Regular image gen: Full scenes, NSFW content, custom scenarios, talking videos
Both have their place.
For now, Z-Image integration makes the character creation process smoother and gives you better-looking avatars by default.
