This Valentine’s, we’re not chasing flowers and candlelight, we’re celebrating the messy, magnetic chaos of toxic romance through AI characters. The Red Flag contest invites creators to design the kinds of AI companions you know are bad news but can’t stop thinking about: the obsessive, the jealous, the dangerously charming.
Think of it as a love letter to every “I can fix them” storyline you’ve ever fallen for, except this time, your red flag actually pays you back. Whether you’re into elegant villains, clingy lovers, or beautifully broken souls, this campaign turns your favorite digital disasters into the main event.
How to Enter: Build Your Perfect Bad Idea
To join the contest, you’ll design a dedicated “Red Flag” character on Lovescape that screams emotional danger from the first glance. Start with personality: jealousy, control issues, toxic loyalty, emotional whiplash, if it would horrify your therapist, it probably belongs in this event.
Then give them a setting that matches their chaos. Generate an image for a scene that feels like the morning after the world’s worst argument: disheveled beds, unblinking stares, a room that says “you’re not leaving until we’re done talking.”
Once you’re happy with your creation, drop your entry in the ❤️🔥・valentines-contest channel on our Discord. Before posting, check the ❤️🔥・valentines-contest READ ME FIRST section so your submission hits all the formatting and eligibility rules.
The Bounty: Cash, Chips, and Spotlight
At the core of the campaign is a staff-picked prize pool that rewards the most unforgettable red flag energy. The top three entries earn:
- 1st place: 200 USD, 5,000 Chips, and an IG spotlight for their character.
- 2nd place: 100 USD and 3,000 Chips.
- 3rd place: 50 USD and 2,500 Chips.
Beyond the main leaderboard, the structure is designed to reward consistent participation, not just a single lucky hit. Every valid entry earns chips, with early participants scoring a boosted bonus, turning regular posting into a steady stream of in-platform rewards.
Daily Rewards: Win Just by Showing Up
Unlike a traditional one-and-done contest, this Valentine’s challenge is built so you can win something almost every day you show up. Every valid submission earns chips, and the first 50 unique entries get an extra bump, giving early creators an incentive to dive in fast.
You can stack additional bonuses on top:
- Valid entry: chips for each qualified submission.
- Cringe bonus: share a screenshot of your AI’s worst pickup line to earn extra chips.
- Referral bonus: bring friends into the contest and get rewarded per new participant, up to a capped number.
- Social boost: share on IG/X or tag friends to push your rank higher on the leaderboard.
All of this activity feeds into the 🏆・valentines-leaderboard on our Discord server, where you can track how your red flag is performing in real time. The more you experiment with new characters, scenes, and shareable moments, the more chances you have to climb.
Weekly Mini-Events and Deadlines
To keep the campaign feeling alive from start to finish, the contest includes themed mini-wins with their own rewards. On February 6, the community votes on “Most Unhinged Red Flag,” with 1,500 Chips going to the creator whose AI personality is the most deliciously toxic.
On February 13, the focus shifts to lines instead of vibes with a “Best Pickup Line” award, where screenshots of your AI’s smoothest or deadliest opener compete for 1,000 Chips. These milestones encourage you to iterate on your character’s voice as well as their aesthetics, giving narrative depth to your digital disaster.
The full contest runs until February 15, carrying the energy beyond Valentine’s Day itself and straight into Singles Awareness territory. That timing lets the campaign live as both a romantic parody and a subtle nod to the comfort of AI companionship when human relationships get too messy.
Why Red Flags Work So Well on Lovescape
On Lovescape, AI companions are more than static profiles, they’re evolving personalities you shape through prompts, design, and conversation. The Red Flag campaign leans into that flexibility by encouraging extremes: intense attachment, dark charisma, morally grey choices, and messy emotional arcs that would be disastrous in real life but addictive in fiction.
It’s also a way to turn familiar internet discourse,“He’s a 10 but…” and red flag meme culture, into a creative sandbox powered by AI. Creators get to safely explore obsession, jealousy, and unhealthy patterns in a controlled environment where the stakes are low but the storytelling is high.
At the same time, the contest format drives discovery inside the platform: new characters, new scenes, and new social moments that show what Lovescape’s AI character tools can really do. The result is a Valentine’s campaign that feels perfectly on-brand for an AI companion platform: romantic, unhinged, and deeply interactive all at once.
